2. Hosting and server logs
This website is hosted by IONOS. When you access the website, the web server processes connection data required for technical purposes. This may include the IP address, date and time of access, requested address, volume of data transferred, referrer, browser type, operating system and HTTP status.
Data is processed to provide the website, maintain technical security and detect faults or abusive access. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest is the secure and reliable operation of the website.
The actual retention period for hosting logs depends on the hosting provider's settings and retention periods.
3. Contact enquiries
When you contact us by email or telephone, the data you provide is processed to answer your enquiry. This usually includes your name, contact details, enquiry content and, where applicable, product information.
The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where the enquiry concerns pre-contractual or contractual measures; otherwise Article 6(1)(f) GDPR applies. The legitimate interest is responding to incoming enquiries.
Data is deleted once the enquiry has been fully handled, provided no statutory retention obligations apply.
4. Cookies, session storage and local browser data
On your first visit, the website chooses German or English based on your preferred browser language. An explicitly selected language is stored for one year in the “signale_language” cookie. This cookie contains only the language choice and is used to display the website as requested.
The publicly accessible area currently uses no analytics or advertising cookies. The development notice can be marked as closed in browser session storage for the current session. The shop launch notification window stores only the fact that it has already been displayed in local browser storage. This information contains no names or email addresses.
A technically necessary session cookie is used to submit the shop launch form securely. It serves only to protect the form and is deleted when the browser session ends.
The protected administration area and, where applicable, the customer portal may use technically necessary session cookies. These serve only for login, session management and security. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
5. Shop launch information and marketing consent
To secure registration, we also store the time and content of consent, a shortened browser identifier and a hash of the IP address. A confirmation email is first sent to the address provided. The address is activated for later messages only after the confirmation link has been clicked.
You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future using the unsubscribe link in each newsletter or by emailing info@media-studios-muenchen.de. After unsubscribing, your address is blocked from receiving further newsletters. Data is deleted when you withdraw consent or the processing purpose ceases, provided no statutory evidentiary obligations apply.
6. Downloads, images and locally provided videos
When images, videos or download files are requested, the same technically necessary server data is processed as when a web page is accessed. Media is currently provided directly by Signale.online; no transfer to external video, analytics or advertising services takes place.
7. Protected areas
Login and session data is processed for access to the administration area and, if enabled, the customer portal. Passwords are stored as cryptographic hashes rather than plain text. Access attempts may be logged for security purposes.
8. Recipients and processors
The hosting provider may process technical data as part of hosting. Other recipients receive personal data only where necessary to handle an enquiry, where a legal obligation exists or where consent has been given.
9. Your rights
Subject to the statutory requirements, you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Consent may be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
10. Security
Appropriate technical and organisational measures are used to protect personal data against loss, manipulation and unauthorised access. However, transmission of data over the internet cannot be entirely risk-free.
11. Changes to this privacy policy
This privacy policy is updated when functions, legal bases or services used change.
